One for the music nerds out there, the amazing story of Donnie & Joe Emerson. A farmer notices that his sons are really into music so he builds them a studio and they record a lost classic in 1979.
Been listening to Ariel Pink’s new album “Mature Themes” and enjoying his cover of Donnie and Joe Emerson’s 1979 lost classic “Baby”. Apparently it’s been known about for years in record collector circles but I only found out about it recently via The Guardian Music Weekly 8 June 2012 podcast.
Record collectors can now rejoice because Light in The Attic Records is reissuing the “Dreamin’ Wild” album on fresh vinyl.
And here’s what the hype is about. Dig those Christine McVie style vocals…
