A recent flying visit to Brisbane by Fraserhead shaped the playlist today. A tight schedule meant he could not get to any gigs or record shopss but scouring Bandcamp later on for Brisbane’s alt, indie, left-field and electronically tinged offerings shed light on quite a vibrant music culture. Think of it as a musical travelogue rather than an exhaustive survey. Thank you also to Mel Echo of Melbourne’s Annual Leaf for recommendations and pointers too.
