The Show: Chapeau Melon et Bottes de Cuir

RIP Patrick Macnee (1922-2015)

With Fraserhead recently regaining his RDU DJ licence we’ve had various professionals drop into the show to audit and assess our performance. Yesterday it was the turn of Yvnalesca​* to swing by and make sure we were doing the show properly. Ironically the biggest balls up was when we plugged Yvnalesca’s Sunday afternoon set at Civil & Naval​. Fraserhead kept calling the bar “Civil & Union”. Apologies. Anyway, head on down to Civil & Union Naval in Lyttelton tomorrow afternoon for some mellow beats.

* Catch Yvnalesca, Scheme and Sheldon Williams on RDU’s newest show – HEDSPACE, Wednesdays 6pm-7.30pm, for their take on techno.

** UPDATE: Since this incident came to light RDU management have reassessed Fraserhead’s DJ licence and he will remain on a restricted licence for the next 6 months.
