The Show: RIP Mark “Sexy Animal” Banfield

We are saddened by the news of the sudden passing of Mark Banfield aka The Beckenham Butcher. A true Christchurch legend, Elvis impersonator extraordinaire, and long time fan and supporter of The Joint.

For that reason a sneaky, sleazy and dirty threesome of SEXY ANIMALS tracks on the show today.

The show: Morer betterer cowbell (but 25% less show)

Once again we struggled to come to terms with some of the new technology at our disposal in the relaunched RDU studio, so the show didn’t really get underway until 12:30. Some would say our obsession to set up cowbells next to the mixing desk caused the delay but they need to take a good, long, hard look at themselves. Priorities, people. Priorities.
