The Show: Over 40 Years Of Sleng Teng

And it only seems like yesterday we were busting out our Casiotone’s and aping Wayne Smith’s 1985 classic. The hard work had pretty much been done 3 or 4 years earlier when one of Okuda Hiroko’s preset rhythm patterns ( called “Rock”, would you believe?) was included on the MT-40 keyboard.

The Show: Ruff, ruff goes the beagle to the terrier…

One of those shows where we somehow got the gentle ambient field recordings of birds, rainfall, running water and accompanying beats (thank you HAAST – HĀWEA, SODA LITE, THOMAS L. BIGELOW, MASAHIRO TAKAHASHI and OV PAIN) to somehow co-exist with the more crunchier numbers (looking at you HAVENS and BLACK DRESSES).
