Happy 10th birthday Christchurch Art Gallery!!!
To celebrate their tin anniversary you will find some ginormous tin men (huge gnomes) outside the gallery entrance on Worcester Boulevard. There’s also a big marquee set up on the High Street / Tuam Street corner outside C1 with all sort of events happening this weekend to launch Populate! – the tenth-birthday programme of art round the city. And not to be outdone Christchurch City Libraries have made the Freegal service available to library members. Three free legit MP3 downloads a week from the Sony catalogue! Wonder if they’ve got any Freegal Sharkey?
