The Show: You’re a winner when you beat the game

Near the start of the show I played Red 7‘s “I Lost My Shoes On Acid” (we’ve all been there, haven’t we?). I recently nabbed the track from the fantastic Keytars & Violins blog and thought that the vocal sample was quite familiar. Turned out to be Hugh Masekela’s 1984 hit “Don’t Go Lose It Baby”. A blast from the past, as they say.

And we finished off the show with Pet Shop Boys’ second single “Vocal” off their latest album “Electric”. Have a peek at the video below. It’s made up of footage of what looks like late 80s early 90s raves. Bloody brilliant.

The Show: Recaps, reruns, retreads

Here’s how a current affairs show should be run. Max Keiser interviews Frankie Boyle about Scottish independence, the BBC, censoprship, and Margaret Thatcher’s funeral. If only more people spoke their minds and said what they mean.
