The Show: French nouns have genders. I do not.

We’re currently working our way through Vivien Goldman’s book “Revenge Of The She-Punks – A Feminist Music History From Poly Styrene To Pussy Riot”. That might go some way to explaining the presence of Rosa Yemen, Bush Tetras and Bikini Kill on today’s show. Expect even more highlights in a couple of weeks time when we finally get to grips with Fea and Fertil Miseria.

And whilst we are on the subject of Poly Styrene, allow us to recommend the recent documentary about her life – “I Am A Cliché“
