* Found ourselves humming the riff of the new 1975 song over & over, wondering why it sounded so very familiar. Once we stopped humming we realised that they may have been “inspired” by Joy Division’s “Disorder” and then compressed that riff through the Pro Tools Bumblebee In A Lift Shaft Audio Filter©.

** Finally have a reason to sneak in a tune from the (very much) underground “Love Is A Drag” album from the early 1960’s. A jazz standard sung by a man for a man seems the perfect counterpoint to the startling “there is no homosexuality in Russia, just men who are addicted to sex” comment that precedes it.
