The show: Spanning the decades

Or should that be “spinning the decades”?

Like a true, cheesy, Gold Classic Solid HitsTM station we managed to play tracks today from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s (Fraserhead overload sorry), 1990, 2000s, and 2010. One day we will go fully OCD and attempt to play a track from every year.

The Herb Whisperer recommends having a peek at the new We Have Band video for “Divisive”…

Fraserhead thoroughly recommends Hashmoder which he discovered last night and kept him entertained until the small hours.

And here’s the playlist in full…

Alternatively, this is the raw, unpasteurized version of the show in mp3 format. No chapters, pictures or links. Otherwise the audio content is the same as the three m4a files above. The choice is yours…..

    1. The pleasure is ours Mr Hash.

I discovered your blog a few nights ago (via Hype Machine I think probably searching for Moroder tracks). The Tears for Fears, Fairlight, and Synth Britannia posts kept me up till 3 in the morning. Played the Cyber People and Mito tracks on the show today. Thanks for putting us on to the good shizzle!!!

  1. I see Mito in your playlist.

I did my own re-mastering of the original 1977 “Droid” track by Automat. The original sounded like mono recording. I made it sound pseudo-stereo in the re-mastering, at the same time beefing it up a little. You can hear both original and my own versions at the following blog/link of mine (link below). Also in that blog is Mito’s 1982 remix of “Droid” which is what you have in your playlist. It was recorded in high-resolution and personally given to me by some dude from France.

Here’s the link to my Droid blog (good read)…

    Here’s the direct mp3 link…
